Many love stories have started here at The Dells Barn Music & Events, and we want to honor those before us, their great love, and the long history of our barn. With that - we offer our Loves Lasting Wish opportunity.
What is LOVES LASTING WISH?
Facing a terminal illness or life-altering health circumstance is physically, emotionally, and financially taxing. Are you a veteran who has served our country? While couples might dream of a wedding, they often lack the physical and mental resources to bring it to fruition. This is where we come in.

Owners, Dennis and Heather understand this predicament and would love to hear your story! We welcome any application aligned with our mission to help those facing terminal illness, life-altering health circumstances or require some help.

Typically, the requested wedding date must be within six months of your application as well as take place within our open season (unless you're willing to bundle up - our barn is not heated). However, we can also grant urgent wishes should the health circumstances warrant.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
​If you’re a veteran, facing a medical challenge, or navigating a life-altering circumstance that has disrupted your wedding plans, Love’s Lasting Wish may be able to help.

We invite you to review the criteria below to see if your story aligns with our mission. If so, we warmly welcome you to submit an application—we’d be honored to help make your wedding wish come true.

One person in the couple must be facing a terminal illness or life-altering health circumstance OR be a veteran who has served our country.

Both partners must be over the age of 18

Wish applications can be submitted by anyone, but must be signed by one or both of the couple receiving the wish. If chosen, the couple must agree to all terms.

Please note: Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Not all applications are approved for wishes.

Ceremony on the grounds inside or outside

Sound system provided for the ceremony

Experienced staff that can assist

Our property is also pet-friendly. We do allow your fur babies to be a part of your special day up until reception.

We do not allow any hanging decorations from the walls or ceiling inside The Dells Barn unless preauthorized. No rice, glitter, certain types of balloons, artificial rose petals, or confetti, are allowed inside the barn, outdoor, or reception areas as they interfere with the wildlife.
